Dr Uncles introduced himself and his assistant before administering the anaesthetic. I felt calm and confident in his ability. Dr Uncles kindly explained to my husband what had happened and how I was after the procedure.

David Uncles came to see me on admissions and straight away made me feel at ease. I explained my Williams Syndrome to me and all the concerns I had. He answered all my questions and then talked to me about the anaesthetic I was about to receive and which I would prefer. After the operation he saw my Mum and Dad, told them all went well and I was awake. Great service and a very kind gentleman.

I felt very reassured under the care of David and his team, he explained everything clearly and put me at ease. He has a very calming manor and made me smile when I was feeling apprehensive. Thank you for the wonderful care.

Profile

I am a specialist Anaesthetist with interests in Obstetric, Ambulatory and Inpatient anaesthesia. I employ a variety of anaesthetic techniques including general or regional anaesthesia, although I often use them in combination to optimise and enhance patients' peri and post-operative experience.
I am dedicated to putting the patient first through the provision of safe and reassuring care delivered in conjunction with my colleagues and associates.
I was present at the inauguration of the Helsinki Declaration in June 2010. This enshrines the values essential to the promotion of the highest professional and safety standards expected of anaesthetists. It is my hope to match or even exceed the expectations of patients who place their trust in me.
